Gap Year @ Hack Club

$cat mission.txt

Spreading technology education to communities and building the future of teen coding through Hack Club. Driven by a passion to leave the world better than I found it, whether through local volunteering to events and programs at Hack Club.

$

I'm currently on a gap year working with Hack Club, a global nonprofit network of high school coding clubs and makers. I focus on the development and operations of Hack Club's fiscal sponsorship platform, HCB, to help high-schoolers and teenagers start banger ass non-profits.

I also hope to democratize access to technology education, especially in underserved communities where resources are limited but potential is unlimited. I work on this both through my work at Hack Club and my volunteering in other organizations, like CodeDay.

When I'm not coding or organizing hackathons, you'll find me exploring new tech from Hacker News, reading up on the latest law review, or volunteering at my local food bank.
